We welcome the do-it-yourself customer.  After we ship your purchase to you, if for any reason during the first 14 days you are not happy, you can ship the item back to us for your choice of a full refund or replacement.  Our cameras and DVRs all come with a one year manufacturer’s warranty for repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion; with a charge for only the actual return shipping cost and no charge for the repair or handling.    

Please obtain a return approval from us in advance and pay for the shipping. Under no circumstances will any warranty or return guarantee apply if incorrect electrical connections were made; static or power surge; or physical damage to product.

Independent Components, LC specializes in video camera surveillance systems.  We are not a security alarm company, nor are we licensed to be.  We specialize in the sales and installation of video equipment for the purpose of surveillance. There are NO MONTHLY FEES associated with our service. An existing high speed Internet connection is required.

Video camera equipment does not come with a 100% guarantee to identify or capture a criminal; but it is the safest and next best thing to being there during the unlawful activity.  It is recognized as an excellent deterrent.  

We highly recommend a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Source) accessory so your system is up and running even in a household or community power failure.

A product warranty is normally serviced by the manufacturer.  That is “a manufacturer’s warranty”.  A guarantee is serviced by the company you purchase the product from.

If we install the system you purchase from us, Independent Components LC guarantees the quality of our materials and labor for one full year.  The equipment we install is warranted by the manufacturer for one full year. During the first 90 days of the manufacturer’s warranty we will guarantee the equipment for all parts and labor!
